PURPOSE:To perform soldering works of lugs between cells once for all by engaging intercell connecting elements rigidly with the projection end parts of the facing lugs with different polarity each other, dipping them in the bath of solder like lead and others as they are, and then pulling them up to solidify. CONSTITUTION:The projection parts 6a, 6a of facing lugs between cells are inserted into the engaging holes 8, 8 provided at both the end parts of intercell connecting elements 7 and engaged. In this case, the diameters of the lugs are set beforehand, for instance, to be able to engage tightly with the inner diameters of the engaging holes 8, 8 of the connecting elements 7 in order that the connecting elements 7 can not drop off even when the storage battery A is situated upside down, positioning the lugs downward. After the storage battery assembled in this way is situated upside down, all intercell connecting parts B and connecting parts for terminals B' are dipped in the bath 15 heated at high temperature in a fused solder bath tub 13 during one to several seconds and then pulled up, being allowed to cool. |
