FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic bore-hole driver is used for making underground passages. According to method of control, initially pioneer bore-hole is driven, then pneumatic driver is connected with additional power unit by means of flexible link. Pneumatic bore-hole driver is subjected to continuous controlling effect exerted by additional power unit through preliminary connecting link. Function of preliminary link is performed by pioneer bore-hole. After initial driving of bore-hole, central part of nose end of pneumatic driver is connected with additional power unit. After that, controlling action of additional power unit is oriented according to direction of route, and repeated driving is performed with creation of new connecting link in ground by means of flexible link. Aforesaid method allows for control of direction of moving pneumatic driver in ground so as to produce bore-hole with guaranteed outcome at preset point. There is no need to monitor positioning of pneumatic driver in process of operation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
