PURPOSE:To eliminate the wrinkles of sheet accompanying a change in environment temperature to obtain a transfer material producing sheet having a good shelf stability, by partially bonding the transfer material producing sheet to a light-untransmitting layer such as a paper. CONSTITUTION:A base sheet 4 consists of a sheet substrate 2 and a releasable coating layer 3 applied on one surface of the sheet substrate 2. On the upper part of the sheet substrate 2 which is the reverse surface of the base sheet 4 to the releasable coating layer 3, an adhesive layer 6 is partially formed with a predetermined width along the edge thereof, and thereon a light- untransmitting layer 5 is bonded. Alternatively, the releasable coating layer 3 which is formed in order to enhance the releasability of a transfer image to facilitate the transfer to a material to be subjected to transfer is not essentially required if the sheet substrate 2 itself has a sufficient releasability. In this manner, the local adhesion of the base sheet and the light-untransmitting layer eliminates the possibility that the difference in expansion coefficient induces wrinkles and the like. |
