<p>A tread package (11, 12) etc. for a tyre is assembled within a pattern ring (6) and a pattern imparted to the tyre tread. The tread is at least partially cured in the ring (6). When the package is assembled with other tyre components the complete green cover, but with a partially cured tread rubber, is moulded and cured in a mould devoid of any means for imparting a pattern to the tread.</p> |
