<p>Low-voltage lighting equipment comprises two parallel conductor rails (1) and a current-collecting slide (3) which slides along the conductor rails (1). Said current-collecting slide has an insulator (8) which prevents the flow of current between the two conductor rails (1) and a pivoting holder for a lamp socket (12) or similar which is electrically connected to both slide parts (7a, 7b) which are electrically separated from each other by said insulation. To obtain a compact construction with a large area of illumination, the collecting slide (3) consists of two collecting heads (4) mounted on the rails (1) and a socket holder (7) mounted between the collecting heads (4) so as to rotate about a transverse axis (A) normal to the direction of sliding. The socket holder (7) electrically connected to the collecting heads (4) is divided by an intermediate piece (8) which forms the insulation and is itself designed as a holder and terminal for the lamp socket (12).</p> |
