PURPOSE:To perform remedy by an appropriate retrial and to prevent damage to access from another system by providing a retry indicating part for indicating a retrial to be carried out by specific times, processing part for delaying its start, and sense command execution part. CONSTITUTION:An IPL execution part 11 generates an input/output instruction for reading the record of a specified IPL equipment item number by an IPL indication. If abnormality of the completion of input and output is reported, a busy state detecting part 12 is activated to check the cause of the abnormality and when the other system is in use, a delay processing part 13 is activated to pass the control to the retry indication part 15 a specific delay time later. If actual trouble causes the system to become abnormal, the sense command execution part 14 is activated to transfer sense information that a disk controller 7 holds to a data address. The retry indicating part 15 checks the specific-time retrial of IPL by its internal counter. |
