Centrifugal machine for making glass hollow-ware

The machine, for making glass containers or hollow articles, by placing molten glass in a mould which is rotated at high speed, is fitted with a protective panel complementary with the convertional screen, which is guided vertically in a frame and operated by a hydraulic cylinder. Another protective part is fitted over each of the rotating moulds, in the form of a flat part which can be moved vertically on guides and operated by hydraulic cylinder. Radial clamps with a horizontal upper lip which fits over the flange of the mould are provided to hold it in place. All movements of the machine are synchronised by an electronic control unit. (3/3)
