PURPOSE:To obtain a structural protein useful for developing vaccine effective for infectious diseases with dengue virus of type 3 showing hemorrhagic or shock symptoms, comprising a specific core protein, specific membrane protein and/or envelope protein. CONSTITUTION:A structural protein derived from dengue virus of type 3 comprising (A) a core protein having 14,000+ or -2,000mol.wt. and N end containing amino acid part sequence shown by formula I, (B) membrane protein having 8,000+ or -1,000mol.wt. and N end containing amino acid part sequence shown by formula II and/or (C) an envelope protein having 55,000+ or -5,000mol.wt. and N end containing amino acid part sequence shown by formula III. X1-X4 in the formulas I-III show unspecified amino acids. |
