The working vehicle, disclosed by the example of a front loader, contains a shovel (2) which is linked to the vehicle (1) and takes hold of the material to be loaded. The movement of the shovel (2) relative to the vehicle (1) can be hydraulically controlled. In order to prevent the escape of highly volatile, environmentally hazardous compounds into the open when excavating and seizing contaminated earth (3) or the like, a cover plate (5) serving as a cover for the shovel space (4) is allocated to the shovel (2). The cover plate (5) is mounted on the shovel in such a way that it can be moved by means of a drive unit (6) from an open position into a closed position and vice versa. Furthermore, the shovel space (4) is connected to a fan (7) serving to draw off air containing highly volatile, organic compounds. An air filter (8) serving to purify the air is connected downstream of the fan (7). <IMAGE>
