PURPOSE:To obtain a core having hollow shape and light wt. for short time by setting intermediate member of flexible plastic elastomer into a forming mold, taking out a solidified core from the forming mold after injecting molten thermoplastic substance and removing the intermediate member from the core. CONSTITUTION:The U-shape intermediate member 10 is formed by the plastic elastomer of synthetic rubber, synthetic resin, etc. The intermediate member 10 is set into cavity 12 in the forming mold 11, and the molten thermal fusible substance 13 is injected into the cavity 12. When the thermal fusible substance 13 solidifies, the hollow thermal fusible core 13 is formed. After taking of this core 13 from the forming mold 11, the intermediate member 10 is taken out from the core 13. As the coefficient out friction is low on the surface between the core 13 and the intermediate member 10, the intermediate member can be easily removed. By this method, the core made of thermal fusible substance having hollow shape and light wt. can be manufactured for short time and the manufactured core is easily treated because of light wt. |
