PURPOSE:To obtain the above composition controlling a various kinds of weeds with a small amount, by blending a specific compound showing herbicidal effects on broad-leaf weeds but insufficient effects on gramineous weeds with one of S-(4-chlorobenzyl)-N,N-diethyl thiocarbamate, etc. CONSTITUTION:A herbicide composition containing a compound shown by the formula and exhibiting herbicidal effects on broad-leaf weeds but insufficient effects on gramineous weeds and at least one selected from S-(4-chlorobenzyl)- N,N-diethyl thiocarbamate, alpha,alpha,alpha-trifluoro-2,6-dinitro-N,N-dipropyl-para-toluidine, N-(1-ethylpropyl)3,4-dimethyl-2,6-dinitroaniline and 3-(4-isopropylphenyl-1,1-dime thylurea as active ingredients. The blending ratio is 1-1,000pts.wt. any of the compounds of the latter based on 1pt.wt. compound shown by the formula and the blend is mixed with a diluent and used. |
