PURPOSE:To enable to easily utilize geothermal energy, by a method wherein an inner pipe with a heat-insulated pipe wall is inserted into an outer wall with an end closed to consitute a double pipe, which is buried underground, cold water is fed from a part on the ground, heat is received underground, and a high temperature water is taken out. CONSTITUTION:The inner pipe 2 with the heat-insulated pipe wall is inserted into the outer pipe 1 with an end closed to constitute the doulbe pipe, which is buried underground. Cold water is fed in through a cold water inlet 3 to sequentially absorb geothermal energy at a deep underground part, hot water reaching the maximum temperature at the deepest part is moved upward through the inner pipe 2, and hot water is obtained through a hot water outlet 4. In this case, since the inner pipe 2 is heat-insulated, hot water moving upward can not loose heat to the side of cold water moving downward. In addition, since cold water has a high specific gravity and tends to move downward while hot water has a low specific gravity and tends to move upward, power cost required for circulating water for utilizing geothermal energy can be reduced as compared to that in a conventional case. |
