PURPOSE: To record all transaction details on one receipt altogether by providing a buffer memory tentatively storing transaction contents and an item addition command means commanding addition of items to the system. CONSTITUTION: The POS system is provided with a buffer memory 7 tentatively storing transaction contents of a customer entered from a POS terminal equipment 4 till at least a succeeding transaction content is entered and an item addition command means commanding addition of items to the POS terminal equipment 4. When a customer adds purchase items after the issue of a receipt, the added transaction content is added to the transaction contents stored in the buffer memory 7 by entering the added purchase item after the addition of item is commanded to the item addition command means and other receipt on which transaction details including all the transaction contents are printed is issued. Since all the transaction details are printed on one receipt, the receipt is understandable and easily observed by customers. |
