PURPOSE:To obtain the above superconductor having stable characteristics in a process for producing the superconductor by a fist heat-treatment of a mixture of materials contg. a Cu compd., pulverizing the product, and performing a second heat-treatment, wherein said pulverization is performed in a device constituted of an inner wall material for a pulverization vessel and a pulverization medium consisting each of a specified material, preventing thus mixing of foreign materials due to the materials of the apparatus into the superconductor product. CONSTITUTION:After performing a first heat-treatment of a mixture consisting of material (e.g., Y2O3, BaCO3, CuO) contg. a Cu compd., the mixture is crushed coarsely in a grinding machine. The product is then pulverized in a pulverizing vessel (e.g., ball mill) having an inner wall material constituted of a material removable by decomposition (e.g., nylon) during a second heat-treatment together with a pulverization medium (e.g., Cu ball) consisting primarily of Cu which is a constituent of the superconductor, and a liquid medium (e.g., alcohol) charged to the pulverization vessel. After drying and molding the pulverized product further, the product is subjected to a second heat-treatment in oxidizing atmosphere. Thus, the title superconductor is obtd. wherein the components invaded from the vessel material are burnt and eliminated. |
