<p>PURPOSE:To automatically return a sheet of paper caught in between a double feed preventing roller and a conveying roller to a paper feeding part by providing a control means for rotating the double feed preventing roller in the direction opposite to a paper feeding direction through a driving means. CONSTITUTION:As a sheet of paper is caught into a double feed preventing means 32, the drive of a feed-paper driving system and a stock feed-paper driving system is stopped by a control means. At the same time, a clutch is disengaged by the control means while repeating the ON/OFF of a solenoid 42 to intermittently rotate a double feed preventing roller 38 in the direction opposite to a paper feeding direction. Due to this rotation, a conveying roller 37 and a paper feed roller 25 the driving system of which is being disconnected via the sheet of paper are rotated in the direction opposite to the paper feeding direction to return the sheet of paper (h) which is being caught into the double feed preventing means 32 in the direction opposite to the paper feeding direction toward a large-capacity cassette case until the detection of the sheet of paper (h) by means of a sensor S1 is discontinued.</p> |
