An image processing device includes an image data capture part (1), a change detector part (4), a selection part (5) and a memory part (6). The image data capture part (1) captures a series of image data groups, which contain an element, which changes over time, of a patient under investigation. The change detector part (4) detects a change of the element changing over time in the sequence of image data groups. The selection part (5) selects a desired image data group from the image data groups, on the basis of the change which was detected by the detector part (4). The memory part (6) stores the desired image data which were selected by the selection part (5). <IMAGE>
