PURPOSE:To shorten a time to record information on a recording medium by converting prescribed information to pattern information to be recorded on the recording medium, and recording readable information on plural information tracks on the information recording medium by a printing means according to the pattern information. CONSTITUTION:In case of recording optically readable information on a sheet shape recording medium P, the prescribed information is converted to the pattern information, and plural information tracks Ta-Tn are formed on the information recording medium P by driving the Printing means according to the pattern information. Next, the readable information are recorded on the information tracks Ta-Tn by the printing means. In such a case, the size of an information unit to be recorded is set equal to the size decided by the minimum line width reproducing capacity of the printing means. In such a way, it is possible to shorten the time required the completion of the recording medium after supplying recording information. |
