PURPOSE: To attain smooth operation of a cutter by carrying plural supplied paper sheets toward the cutter in a stacked state (state that the thickness is continuously constant). CONSTITUTION: When lots of paper sheets P are discharged from a blade wheel 51 via a pass hole 42 toward a paper sheet stack plate 2, the paper sheets P are stacked on the plate 2 in a layered state. When the plate 2 is driven in the direction X, the paper sheets P are dropped on a drive belt carrying path 6 while the position of them is being regulated by a stopper guide 43. In this state, since the carrying path 6 is tilted, the paper sheets P are carried toward a cutter 40 on the carrying path 6 in a state of causing continuous position deviation (state that the thickness is continuously constant). In the case of mounting a bypass carrying means 4, set screws are removed and the carrying path 6 is turned up to a save positionα2 and then the means 4 is mounted. Thus, the performance of the paper sheet delivery machine or the like is confirmed without using a test paper sheet.
