<p>The invention relates to a collodion-based composition for producing a film for protecting the surface of a living tissue. According to the invention, use is made of a collodion solution (cellulose nitrate in a solvent consisting of methanol and ether); the solution is incorporated in an applicator device comprising a reserve (2) formed by a bag which is compressible and which is able to deliver, through the opening (5), the collodion in the liquid state or the essentially liquid state onto the application spatula (4), the flexible spatula comprising two lateral edges (14) and (15) controlling the depositing of the collodion on the support tissue in a constant thickness, and preventing any overflow to the outside; the applicator comprises a seal or cap provided with a safety device (11, 11') forming a rod which can be snapped into the catch (13). The invention permits the positioning and the application of a flexible and transparent dressing on a wound, ensuring the closure and the protection of the latter and facilitating its healing, and forming an integral body with the support member, thus preventing any unsightly or unpleasant discontinuity. <IMAGE></p> |
