PURPOSE:To improve the evaporation performance of the title centrifugal film evaporator by forming the rotary vane of the evaporator from a thin sheet to lighten the vane and to reduce the driving power, and uniformizing the clearance distribution in the axial direction between the inner wall surface of the evaporator body and the vane. CONSTITUTION:A film is formed on the inner wall surface of the cylindrical evaporator body 8 by the rotary vane 7 set in the body 8 to evaporate and concentrate a liq. The vane 7 is formed by radially combining the vane member consisting of plural thin sheets. A driving shaft 10 and a non-driven shaft 11 are joined to both ends of the vane 7 in the longitudinal direction. Namely, since the vane of the evaporator can be lightened in this way, the rotating power is reduced, the axial distribution of clearance between the inner wall surface of the body and the vane is uniformized, and the evaporation performance is improved. In addition, the area surrounded by the body and the vane member is increased as compared with the conventional evaporator, the cross-sectional area of the passage for the evaporated material is increased, the resistance to the flow of the evaporated material is reduced, and evaporation is easily carried out. |
