<p>PURPOSE:To allow radiation dose measurements anywhere by correcting energy proofs by the use of radiation emitted from a radioisotope naturally contained in a specific element in regard to a gamma ray measuring method by the aid of a scintillator. CONSTITUTION:With a vessel 26 housing a compound KCl engaged, a result measured for a few minutes is transmitted to a measuring instrument main body 28 through a signal line 27 and the peak of gamma rays 1,4608Mev which the isotope of <40>K generates. The graduations of electric charge quantity are changed into those of energy of an incorporated CPU in order that the position of a cursor indicates 1.46Mev which is gamma ray energy emitted from <40>K according to the operation. According to the measurements energy corrected distribution curves can be obtained and a nuclide can be distinguished by a peak position generated. In accordance with the method radiation dose can be measured anywhere, an input device, a signal treating means and a displaying means are provided, and nuclide and its dose can be known by making them portable formation.</p> |
