<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate a channel for telephone voice control information to a communication line by multiplexing telephone voice control information onto a normal data packet and using a data line so as to send the result. CONSTITUTION:A voice signal from a telephone set 4 is A/D-converted and fed to a multiplexer 3. On the other hand, telephone voice control information from the telephone set 4 is processed as a packet and fed to the multiplexer 3. The multiplexer 3 multiplexes the packet data and voice signal and sends the result to a slave station via a communication satellite. A demultiplexer 16 of the slave station demultiplexes the multiplexed signal and a packet encoder/decoder 2 identifies the packet of telephone voice control information. Then the telephone voice control information is fed to a telephone set 4 to attain required operation.</p> |
