<p>PURPOSE:To prevent brush wires from being apart by forming linear projections on a base, cutting both ends of the projections for equalizing compression force to the projections, and equally depressing the projections over the whole length when the ends of brush wire groop is resistance-welded on the projections. CONSTITUTION:On one upper surface end of a PBS base material 1 with the thickness of 0.1mm, width of 2.5mm and a length of 10mm, linear projections 2 with the height of 0.08mm and length of 2.0mm are pressed in the width direction and at the same time, both ends of the projections 2 are cut and separated from the base material 1. Then basic ends of a brush wire material group 4 of 20 piecies of brush wire materials 3 aligned parallely are resistance welded to form a sliding material 5. In this way it is possible to enable the brush wire materials to contact stably without being apart each other and to prevent generation of noise.</p> |
