PURPOSE:To ensure continuous writing or reading actions in a prescribed mode by carrying out the continuous writing/reading actions to an ID unit and discrimi nating whether these actions are normally carried out or not and displaying the result of this decision. CONSTITUTION:When an operator sets a mode setter at the RUN side, a write/ read controller main body part 4 is connected to a host controller 6. Then data re written to and read out of an ID unit 2 by a command of the controller 6. While in a MONITOR mode, the data writing/reading actions are carried out to the unit 2 by a command of a monitor unit 7. Then the read processing, etc., are carried out with operation of a TEST key and the presence or absence of errors is decided. The result of this decision is displayed. The command processing like a reading action, etc., and the decision of the presence or absence of errors are repeated every second. Then a proper distance were no error is produced is set through the change of the distance between a head part 5 and the unit 2. |
