PURPOSE:To take advantage of the reduced size of a photosensitive body and to miniaturize an entire copying device by arranging unitarily a device making electrostatic latent images on a photosensitive body visible around the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with an original placing table 2 capable of reciprocatingly moving in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of a latent image carrier 10, the drum-like latent image carrier 10 of 10mm-40mm in diameter, a transfer charger 9 transferring electrostatic latent images that a developing device makes visible, and an acicular earthing means 18 destaticizing a recording medium S before fixing and after the transfer charger 9 makes latent images visible. In addition, the titled device is provided with a charger 5 electrifying the latent image carrier prior to forming electrostatic latent images on the latent image carrier 10, a part of a shield member for the charger 5, and a cover means 8 equipped with slits capable of irradiating optical images of an original from a converging light transmission body array 4. Thus the diameter of the latent image carrier is made smaller; therefore the separation of the recording medium from the latent image carrier is performed by its own elastic force of said medium to miniaturize the entire device. |
