PURPOSE:To reduce an area where a photosensitive body and a paper directly and closely being brought into contact with each other and to improve the separation property of the paper in a photosensitive body separating part by forcibly attaching white toner onto the photosensitive body corresponding to an edge part on a paper feed side. CONSTITUTION:When there is the white toner in the colors of various types of toner identifying means 4a-6a and only when a light transmitting detecting means 32, the white toner is attached onto the photosensitive body 1 corresponding to the fixed area of the edge part on the paper feed side by selectively driving the developing device. The separation property from the photosensitive body of the edge part is improved and the toner is attached by driving the developing devices 4-6 having the toner whose color is selected for image forming in unspecified areas. Thus, the separation property of the paper in the photosensitive body separating part is improved and the occurrence of paper jamming can be prevented. |
