<p>PURPOSE:To cause the cut-off of a power source to be satisfactory by supervising an input condition from an input device when a remote power-off instruction is received, deciding whether a work station is used in an off-line condition or not and executing the cut-off of the power source only when it is not used. CONSTITUTION:Communication is executed between a host computer 1 and a work station (WS) through a communication line 2. When the communication between the host computer 1 and a WS3 is not executed for a long time, it is judged that the WS3 is not used and the remote power-off instruction is sent. When this instruction is sent, in the host computer 1 side, a session with the WS3 is controlled as being end-processed. Then, it is confirmed that the power source of the WS3 is cut-off by the response of the power source cut-off from the WS3 and after that, the session end is obtained. When the response of the power source cut-off from the WS3 is not executed even after a constant time passes, the WS is judged to be used in the off-line condition and the ending instruction of the session is sent to the WS3. Then, the end of the session, etc., is executed.</p> |
