The present invention relates to a mobile electronic block and a driving method thereof. According to the present invention, the mobile electronic block includes: a main block which includes a sensor sensing an inclination, a first microcontroller (MCU) generating a control signal in accordance with the sensed inclination, and first coupling units for connecting blocks; a sub-block which includes a driving motor, a second MCU controlling an operation of the motor in accordance with the control signal, and a second coupling unit for connecting the blocks; and a connection block which has an end and the other end respectively connected to the first and second coupling units to transmit the control signal to the second MCU through an electrical wire arranged therein. The present invention enables the blocks in a polyhedron shape to be freely built and assembled in various shapes and enables a user to operate the assembled electronic blocks in accordance with the shaking speed and the number of times the blocks are shaken in order to induce the users interest.
