<p>PURPOSE: To make it possible to deal with the change in the specifications of a club head by forming a second bore for fitting a golf club shaft in an insert member, placing the member in the angle setting position of a shaft and the face of a club head, and installing the insert member into the first bore in the golf club head. CONSTITUTION: The insert member 16 is so selected and bored that the members is provided with the bore 19 having the angle satisfying the desired specifications of a specified club before the insert member 16 is inserted into the bore 13 of the club head 10. The insert member 16 having the bare 19 previously bored at such angle is inserted into the bore 13 of the club head 10 and is then fixed therein. The shaft 20 is then inserted and fixed into the bore 19 of the insert member 16. The shaft is enclosed by a ferrule 21 at need. Eventually, there is no need for forming the club head of many and different specifications and the integration of the heads as a batch is possible as well. Further, the angle adjustment of the shaft with respect to the head is made possible by boring the bore 19 of the insert member 16 previously set at the desired angle before the insert member 16 is inserted into the head 10.</p> |
