PROCESSABLE HEAT STABLE ETHYLENE/VINYL ACETATE/CARBON MONOXIDE TERPOLYMER COMPOSITION

The specification describes a new polymer composition comprising an ethylene-vinyl acetate-carbon monoxide copolymer (EVACO copolymer) and a nitrogen-containing or an alicyclic epoxy compound, and a new foamable polymer composition comprising an ethylene-vinyl acetate-carbon monoxide copolymer, a heatdecomposable organic blowing agent having a decomposition temperature of at least 90.degree.C and a nitrogen-containing or an alicyclic epoxy compound. The compositions or their blends with other polymers, when used for fabrication of plastic articles, show substantially better processability and heat and odor stability than those of EVACO copolymers.
