PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition applied in manufacturing or processing steps so as to suppress generation of static electricity and accumulation of objects falling in the steps and exhibiting good operability by including a smoothing agent, a specified phosphonium sulfonate and a emulsifier. CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises >=40 wt.% smoothing agent, 0.05-10 wt.% phosphonium sulfonate composed from e.g. an organic sulfonate anion and an organic phosphonium cation and represented by the formula (R<1> is a 4-28C hydrocarbon; R<2> to R<5> are each a (substituted) 1-18C hydrocarbon) and, if necessary, <=40 wt.% (based on the oiling agent composition) emulsifier (e.g. a nonionic surfactant) and is fed in a spinning step. By this oiling, nap and thread breakage do not break out, excellent antistatic property is exhibited and high grade products are obtained with good operability. The smoothing component is preferably a mineral oil having 5-125 cSt kinematic viscosity at 30 deg.C, an esterification product having 200-1,000 molecular weight or the like. |
