PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refining apparatus improved in the precision of refining. SOLUTION: The refining apparatus 10 refining a starting substance containing a plurality of composing materials into an object substance containing specified composing materials by a supercritical fluid is provided with a liquid feed means 12 for continuously feeding the supercritical fluid to an extracting flow passage 20 for performing supercritical fluid extraction of the composing materials, an extracting means 14 installed at the back stage of the liquid feed means 12 and performing the supercritical fluid extraction of the composing materials in the extracting flow passage 20 with a predetermined temperature gradient based on the solubility of the composing materials in a range of a supercritical temperature or higher of the fluid in a flow passage direction of the supercritical fluid, and a pressure control means 16 installed at the back stage of the extracting means 14 and controlling the extracting pressure in the extracting flow passage 20.
