The invention relates to a catch device for the coupling member of a three-point suspension device or of a power lift of tractors, building machines or the like, consisting of a catch hook, on which is mounted pivotably counter to the force of a spring a stop block in the form of a two-arm lever, over which engages an actuating lever, one end of which comes to bear on the stop block and the other end of which serves for pivoting, a retention device being arranged between the stop block and actuating lever. The object of the invention is to provide a compact and light catch device of simple construction, which is unsusceptible to soiling and in which perfect functioning is constantly guaranteed. According to the invention, the stop block has, at its end facing away from the catch hook, an oblique face of which the perpendicular runs through the bearing of the actuating lever, and the actuating lever carries an abutment which, with the actuating lever not pivoted, bears against the oblique face and, with the actuating lever pivoted, is located outside the pivoting range of the arm of the stop block.
