PURPOSE:To inexpensively produce the titled honeycomb having high strength by sticking a ceramics material to a honeycomb core made of specific air permeable materials and curing the same by calcination. CONSTITUTION:A sealer 14 is coated on sealing lines 4 of a prescribed width formed at every prescribed pitch P to the resilient sheet-like air permeable material 3 and is cured. Adhesive agent layers 5 are the formed to the lines 4 positioned at every other lines on this air permeable material 3 and a prescribed number of sheets of such air permeable materials 3 are successively superposed on each other to the positional relations where the adhesive agent layers 5 of one air permeable material 3 of the air permeable materials 3, 3 and the lines 4 of the other air permeable material 3 come into corresponding contact with each other; finally, the air permeable material 3 formed only with the lines 4 is superposed thereon to obtain the undeveloped honeycomb core 6 made of the air permeable materials. After plural pieces of communicating holes 9 are bored to the respective joint parts of the core 6, the core is cut at every prescribed length in the direction orthogonal with the line 4 and the cut core is developed in the superposition direction W, by which the air permeable honeycomb core 2 is obtd. The ceramics material is then impregnated into this core 2 and is cured by calcination. |
