PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of a dead angle in the confirmation of a rear view at the directional conversion during the travelling of a vehicle by closing a switch in a mirror driving electronic circuit interlocked with the operation of a direction indicating lever to operate a mirror driving mechanism for slanting a rearview mirror to a predetermined position. CONSTITUTION:When a direction indicating lever 3 is pressed for example to change a travelling lane during the travelling of a vehicle, a magnetic approach switch 6a is turned on by a permanent magnet 4 mounted through a support bed 5 on said lever 3. Thus, current is supplied to a solenoid 15 for the right side rearview mirror through a drive circuit to attract a connecting plate 16 against a return spring 17, so that a mirror support frame 9 and a mirror 8 are pivoted about a spherical seat 11 until they abut against a regulation stopper 14. Namely, the mirror 8 is pivoted to the right side to show the presence and condition of succeeding vehicle without any dead angle. |
