PURPOSE:To fit in and synthesize a person image in a well-ordered condition by displaying the person image on a monitor, simultaneously, displaying the square frame of a prescribed size or a T mark, moving the frame or T mark and instructing the segmenting part of the person image. CONSTITUTION:The video signal of three colors of a person 2 to be obtained by image-picking up by means of a television camera 1 is written to a first frame memory 13. A synthesizer 23 added person image data read from the first frame memory 13 and figure data read from a second frame memory 17, and sends them to a color monitor 11. The color monitor 11 displays the person image and the frame to indicate a range to segment the person image.
