An apparatus for heating dental waxes having a device for changing the temperature, which is connected to a power circuit and preferably contains a vessel for accommodating the dental wax, is to be simplified and made more effective. For this purpose, the device for changing the temperature is an element of polycrystalline titanate ceramic; the temperature range of the titanate ceramic lies below 100@C, preferably between 50 and 95@C.
