<p>In a mechanical drive for the charging blower of internal combustion engines, a rotor (3) secured on a rotor shaft (2) is driven by the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine, over a variable speed gear (4), an electromagnetically driven separating clutch (6) and a reducing gear. In order to build a charging blower drive with favourable axial and radial dimensions and to achieve a favourable mounting of an input shaft (9) of the reducing gear, the reducing gear is shaped as a planetary gear (7). The input shaft (9) is mounted in an axially protruding collar (16) of the gearbox (13) and the electromagnetically driven separating clutch (6) is arranged around the circumference of this collar (16). On the input shaft (9) are arranged, on the one side of this mounting (17) a clutch disk (15), and on the other side a ring gear (18).</p> |
