CONSTITUTION:A home specification piece 41 for specifying a 2nd home and a timing specification piece 42 for a 2nd timing are provided on the indicator 40 for indicating a copied area so as to control the traveling of the traveling optical system 28 and also to time paper supply in the controlled traveling range. Since not only paper supply timing is changed but also the traveling range of the traveling optical system 28 can be changed according to the copied area of an original 24, the wasteful traveling of the optical system 28 does not occur and the copying time can be shortened. And also it is to the advantage of a copying cost.
