A connecting piece ensuring good alignment between two contiguous composite glued panels composed of a plaster or similar covering and an insulating honeycomb foam. The piece has the shape of a truncated arrow 1 and is installed by inserting it between the panels which causes the tongues 3, 3' to retract and to regain their shape once the insulation is reached. The piece grips the panels between the tongues 3 and 3' and the wedge 4 using the cavity 2. Once the adhesive has set, the wedge is removed and the piece is pushed into the insulation. <IMAGE>
