The device disclosed consists of means, taken either singly or in combination, and more particularly by the guiding of slides, the male part (21) of which is rigidly connected to the inner part of the plinth (19) and covered by a fitting (22) which rubs against the female part permanently connected to the outside of the plinth in order to prevent the telescopic sections from jamming. The device is intended for the construction of shelters of variable shapes and sizes, depending on the application, from these sets of elements. The light, self-structured mounting elements simplify mounting, prevent deformations due to strains and stresses, and improve the guiding of the rolling elements.
