A device is proposed for connecting at least two cable parts, by means of an open sleeve (1) and a guide part (2) which can be displaced therein and essentially has a U-shape. The cable parts are positioned in the guide part (2) and are clamped firmly by means of screws (4) which run through the sleeve wall, essentially parallel to the sleeve limbs. Installation on site is relatively simple, especially because of the free limbs (2a) of the U-shaped guide part (2). <IMAGE>
