发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a printing image which has superior thermal transferability at the time of high speed printing and also high resolution by providing a heat melting coloring material layer on a support and adding a specific compound to the coloring material layer. CONSTITUTION:A coloring material layer contains a compound shown by a formula (I). The preferable compound of the formula (I) is such as at a melting point of 50 deg.C-200 deg.C from a viewpoint of storage stability and thermosensitivity as a thermal transfer recording medium. Of organic or inorganic dyes or pigments, those used as a coloring agent should have proper characteristics as a recording material. For instance, those best suited should have adequate coloring density and be free from a change in color. To obtain 4 thermal transfer recording medium by using a support, a coloring agent and a compound, the coloring agent and a compound are blended into a composition. This composition is applied to one surface of the support by any appropriate coating method. In the formula, R is a chain hydrocarbon group with 3-20 carbon atoms, and n is an integer of 1-10.
