PURPOSE:To display a sharp picture by a photoreceptor formed by providing a photoconductive layer on a transparent base and a means for projecting a light image upon the photoreceptor surface. CONSTITUTION:The beltlike photoreceptor 8 is formed by providing gold, indium oxide, tin, etc., very thin over the external surface of a transparent polyester film sheet 15 by vapor deposition and forming a photosensitive layer 17 of CdS, etc., outside it. A semiconductor laser oscillator 9 emits laser light modulated by an electric picture signal. This laser light passes through a scanner 10, ftheta, lens 11, and a mirror 12 to illuminate the inside of the beltlike photoreceptor 8, forming a latent image on the photosensitive layer 17. The picture formed on the outer circumferential surface of the photoreceptor 8 by a picture forming device is conveyed by the A-directional movement of the photoreceptor 8 until it faces transparent glass 2, and stopped there temporarily to be displayed. |
