PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for preparing a mount stand and to achieve cost reduction, by effectively putting a buffer material for packing and protecting an indoor unit to practical use as the mount stand of an outdoor unit. CONSTITUTION:The buffer materials 3, 3 mounted to both end parts of an indoor unit 1 are formed from polystyrene foam and the engaging parts 7 engaging the both corner parts of the lower end of an outdoor unit 5 is provided to the outside surfaces of the buffer materials 3, 3. Each of the engaging part 7 is formed into a recessed shape in matching relation to the external appearance shape of each lower end corner part of the outdoor unit 5 so as to almost coincide with said lower end corner part. After transport, the buffer materials 3, 3 and a corrugated cardboard frame 2 are detached from the indoor unit 1 and said buffer materials 3, 3 are parallelly arranged on the foundation of the anchor place of the outdoor unit 5 so that the surfaces provided with the engaging parts 7 are turned upwardly.
