A packaging container has a body (1) and two lids (2, 3) with a folded edge (11) which are inserted in the openings of said body. The container is intended to have a high degree of tightness and rigidity with the use of packaging materials using little energy so that long-term storage of perishable foodstuffs and luxury foods is possible. For this purpose, the body (1), which is formed from a multi-layer packaging material, has a longitudinal seam (5) which is constructed as a joint with a covering strip (6) sealed on over it. The lids (2, 3), sealed into the openings of the body, are likewise formed by drawing from a multi-layer packaging material and have notches (14) in the outer limb (13) of their folded edge. <IMAGE> |
