<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a latex puff, stabilized, uniform and having a smooth curved surface of the peripheral rim thereof, by a method wherein the edges of the tubular end peripheral rims of both top and bottom forces are pushed against the material of the latex puff from both sides and high-frequency current is applied while heating said edges to melt and cut said puff material. CONSTITUTION:The edges 1b, 2b of tubular end peripheral rims, provided on both of top and bottom forces 1, 2, are pushed against a plate type latex puff material 3, consisting of latex foam, from both sides thereof. Then, high-frequency current is applied while heating the edges 1b, 2b. By this method, the part of the latex material 3, which is enclosed by the edges 1b, 2b, is cut off from the other part of the material 3. The latex puff 3c, having the line 3b of fusion welding on the circumference thereof and a smooth curved surface on the peripheral rim thereof, may be obtained in such a manner.</p> |
