<p>A method of linear interpolation comprises precalculation of interpolation contributions relating to all the possible locations for the points of an elementary mesh. The positions of these locations are determined as a function of a fineness of interpolation to be obtained. It is shown that this precalculation can be obtained without significantly enlarging the memory of an apparatus which uses it. Moreover, the speed of execution achievable allows expansion of definition, to flight, of poorly defined images to be visualised into well defined images. …<IMAGE>… </p> |
