PURPOSE:To improve the yield of the granulated material from the raw material and to ameliorate the mixing efficiency by supplying the high-temp. particulate dust generating in a heating and drying part to the raw material being treated from a mixing part to a granulating part, and efficiently utilizing the dust. CONSTITUTION:The weighed raw material, sodium hydroxide, and binder such as water glass are mixed and agitated by a raw material mixer A in the mixing part. The mixed raw material is sent out from the mixer A through a conveyor line 4, and press-granulated by a granulator B. The granulated material sent out from the granulator B is heated and dried by a heating and drying machine C to obtain the strengthened granulated material. The high-temp. particulate dust generated in the heating and drying machine C is recovered, and supplied, for example, to the conveyor line 4 through a recovery line 8. The strength of the granulated material immediately after press granulation can be thereby enhanced, the breakage of the granulated material during the conveyance can be prevented, the temp. of the raw material at the outlet of the mixer A can be lowered, and the mixing time can be reduced. |
