<p>HIV-1-related polypeptides capable of immunologically mimicking an antigenic determinant on the HIV-1 virus TMP protein are disclosd. Methods for using the disclosed HIV-1-related polypeptides to assay for the presence and/or amount of anti-HIV-1 antibodies in a body fluid sample are disclosed. Further disclosed are improved diagnostic systems useful for detecting anti-HIV-1 antibodies.</p> |
